The third week of the Pharmaton MVP Challenge proved much tougher but more exciting as well as MVP challengers knows the finish line is near (Week 2 update).
Challengers Anthony Cuerpo, Popo Remigio, TJ Isla, Chock Martinez, and Monica Torres felt the strain but managed to pull it off amidst exhaustion and competiton.
Now on its third week, the ultimate endurance race resumed the series of challenges with a run in Batangas (Talisay) and a bike time trial in scenic Tagaytay. Another trail run served as an opener the next morning followed by a kayak challenge, no less.
Then from Batangas, the competition continued to the metro's Quezon City where the challengers did some mini challenges at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Bureau near Quezon Avenue.
More in Subic, the challengers surged up Day 20 of the month-long competition with a road bike challenge towards the Gawad Kalinga center. They shared gifts with underprivileged locals.
The challengers then had a survival skills challenge at Subic’s Eco Village. Finally, a kayak challenge ended the Subic leg of the competition and the challengers moved on to Alaminos, Pangasinan where they completed a swim through the famed Hundred Islands.
The ultimate MVP of the challenges brings home P500,000 while the 2nd to 5th placers will receive P250,000, P150,000, P100,000 and P50,000, respectively.
With just one more week to go, the Pharmaton MVP Challenge is getting closer to the highly-anticipated final week. Surely, only the mentally and physically toughest will remain and be declared as the Pharmaton MVP Challenge Champ!

“Participating in a month-long endurance challenge is no joke,” related Remigio, one of the two women challengers.The action continued north in Subic, Zambales where the five challengers stretched more muscles in an uphill and downhill run. There was again a road bike challenge. They ended the day at the Pawikan Center where the challengers had a more relaxing activity - they released baby turtles out to the sea.

“We’re down to the last week of the competition and I bet the challenges will only get tougher,” adds Martinez.On Day 23, today, they had an exciting surfing and arduous paddling competitions at the San Juan Surf Resort in La Union before heading to the historic Vigan for more mental and physical demanding challenges.
