"Start them young." Rexona holds in this belief as they launch an advocacy to inspire young Filipinos excel in sports recently Establishing Rexona Sports Centers is the next phase after their launch of Rexona Sport Defence and the 1st Rexona Run in coordination with RunRio Productions and SM.
Turn-Over Ceremonies
With 9,000 registrants in the
Rexona Run 2010 and as a fund-raising marathon, it benefitted the establishment of the
Rexona Sports Centers in different public schools of Manila City. The recent turn-over ceremonies last
January 20, 2011 was held at
Raja Soliman Science and Technology High School where Rexona donated a complete set of sports equipment and refurbished the areas.
“The Rexona Sports Center for Excellence is envisioned to be a hub where students and athletes from different schools can learn and train in a particular sport. We hope that they will be able to fulfill their dreams here of becoming the next world class athletes of tomorrow,” said Anne Remulla, Rexona Brand Manager, Unilever Philippines.

We can expect more from Rexona in forwarding sports for the youth by establishing more Rexona Sports Centers. in the near future.
I hope more private companies will support local sports since walang maasahan from the government para sa mga athletes natin.
