PNoy Buys Multi-Million Peso Porsche

When I first heard the news title about the President buying a Porsche, I thought "What is this about? Is this an insensitive gesture of a newly elected President amidst his starving fellow countrymen?"


It's good I did not jump into conclusions. The Philippine President boutght a second-hand Porsche during the previous holiday. He swapped it with his two years-old BMW car according to a this source's source. :)

Being a car enthusiast himself, it was not a hard decision for Aquino. After all, it was an entry level Porsche car and he is still entitled to some holiday shopping spree amidst all the problems and stress.

More importantly, the BMW he used to swap it was part of the P9 million vehicle values Statement of Assets and Liabilities and Net Worth he declared most recently.

It was also said that he drive-tested it last month at the 2-km private track circuit at the Clark Freeport - Clark International Speedway. Take care of the Porsche Mr. President. :)
