Summer is Here with Nestea Fit Camp Hot Sports

Nestea Fit kicked-off the Nestea Fit Camp Hot last weekend at the Fort Bonifacio Open Field nearby Bonifacio High Street. The camp intends to introduce an active lifestyle program through various sports and activities designed to get one hot for the upcoming summer season.

The Nestea Fit Camp Hot is a 6-Saturday physical course facilitated by the country’s top athletes and professionals. The Nestea Fit Camp Hot sports and activities include beach basketball, beach volleyball, touch football, hiphop dancing, flag football, yoga, zips, and the famous ultimate frisbee.

I actually got to try the hip-hop and ultimate frisbee. Although I'd love to learn and go hip-hop dancing again, I have longed succumbed to the idea after several tries in my younger years.

It was kind of a let down though that we were not actually able to play the ultimate frisbee because of time constraints. The bell for the next sport rang even before we started the game. They were able to orient and somehow train us though, theoretically. It was nonetheless fun.

Together with some friends, we left for lunch. And good for those who stayed, celebrities Karyll and Derek Ramsay came in support of the event. And they already left when I came back at 1pm.

More Than Just Burning Under The Sun

There's actually more to it than just staying active under the hot sun. The aforementioned 6-Saturday Camp Hot course is just the Manila leg. Finals will be in Boracay! Yes, you heard it right!

Be a Nestea Fit Hot Camper from Manila by joining the full 6-Saturday Program that will start on February 20, 2010 (9am-5pm). The succeeding 5 Saturdays are Feb 27, March 6, 13, 20, and 27.

Teams will be formed in week 1 and will be complete by week 6. The participating sports and activities are

• Flag Football
• Hip Hop
• Yoga
• Zips

On April 22-24, winning teams of the camp will be flown and compete for ultimate hotness in Boracay!
